I am naturally an early riser so that’s the obvious answer.

I have a commonly used alias dawnriser on websites so that’s another source. (My other most commonly used alias is barstep – a contraction of my names.)

I love the way that things just dawn on me. Despite living for over 60 years on this planet I’m still surprised by realisation.

I love the dawn and the way it creeps across the earth dispelling darkness. I hope my blog sheds a little light.

Finally, there’s a piece of scripture in the New Testament that says “We have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”
