Hey, don’t knock the newspaper printers and their need for big lumps of expensive kit and massive consumables usage, they keep me in a job. Having said that I don’t buy newspapers, I get all the info I need online.
The next media giant to go will be broadcast radio as we can choose the genre of what we want to hear online.
But broadcast radio just burbles on in the background without user intervention. It’s still the best for breaking news, instant comment of events and considered reporting. It’s also relatively cheap. It’ll be around for a long time yet.
