The beach at Buccament Bay Resort
We enjoyed two main holidays this year. The first, to mark our Ruby Anniversary, was in St Vincent in the Caribbean. It was wonderfully tropical and we were spoiled rotten in a five star resort. The island people were so friendly and humourous. They made the week really enjoyable.
A meal out at the Brown Horse pub
The second,with the family Stephenson, was in the Lakes. We took a big house in Bowness and soaked up the rain. Lots of fun though and a memorable walk round the Fairfield Horseshoe (just Barrie and Joan) and sheepdog trials at Rydal. We thoroughly recommend The Brown Horse in Winster – great atmosphere and good food too.
