Not outside my front door
This is the sight that confronted me when I opened the front door this morning.
It’s freshers week at St John’s Uni at the end of the street and so the students – like small boys – are doing silly things.
This car belongs to a student. The rubbish belongs in the skip next to it.
Sadly there’s little hope of all this junk finding it’s way back into the skip. It’ll be scattered across the neighbourhood and in the early hours of tomorrow morning the students will return howling and squealing. Meanwhile the usual residents fill in their student disturbance logs for delivery to the college and council later in the year.
