This is where RAF pilots are trained. If you squint you may just see a line of Turcano aircraft – and one that had just landed and taxiing towards the hanger.
Pilots from all over the world are trained here – some no doubt to be engaged in serious conflict when they return home.
Back to the theme of the day.
To change the subject – the new saddle is clearly visible in this picture – and it’s still comfortable. The route home is easy from here. The wind’s at my back, I’m following the River Ouse into York so it’s flat.
