Q for iPhone in York

Q for iPhone in York

I cycled down to the O2 shop in York this morning to see how many were
queuing outside. Here they are. The guy at the front came straight
here from his night out last night, the rest arrived from 5.30am
onwards.
I’m pretty sure the shop only has a dozen phones to sell when it opens
at 8:02 so those at the end of the line will be disappointed.
I went home for breakfast.

Training route to Castle Howard

I have started a training schedule to be ready for the sponsored ride on July 7th. This morning I rode 30 miles to Castle Howard and back on a circular route. York -> Haxby -> Strensall -> Flaxton -> Foston -> Castle Howard -> Bulmer -> Sheriff Hutton -> Strensall -> Huntington -> York.  I chose this route today because there are a few steepish hills on the route – though nothing like the one’s I’ll encounter in the Yorkshire Dales

If the picture looks odd – I was trying to use my iPhone backwards – not easy and I am sort of squinting at the sun and scowling at the phone. I’ve set up ShoZu so that I can email pictures straight to this blog – although the formatting may be odd until I can logon to the site from a computer to sort it out.

If you haven’t sponsored me yet you can do it here

The iPhone deal just got even better

WWDC: O2 iPhone WiFi includes BT OpenZone, The Cloud – iPod/iPhone – Macworld UK

O2 has taken another step to widely improve its iPhone 3G offering in the UK, multiplying the available WiFi hotspots users can employ to get online.

Hidden in the small print on the O2 page, O2 confirms iPhone users will enjoy free use of WiFi hotspots from its existing partner, The Cloud, and also observes iPhone users will be able to use hotspots provided by BT OpenZone.

Even more free (or should I say bundled) WiFi with the O2 iPhone deal from July 11th.
